Bio:

Jeff grew up in a middle class, easy going family on Coruscant. His father was a merchant who owned a small shipping business. Jeff's mother also was involved in the family business. Although they were often gone at a week or two at a time, Jeff enjoyed a happy life, ignorant of the rebellion raging out in the Rim. All that changed when Jeff was just seventeen years old when an officer flanked by two storm troopers visited him when his mother and father were off world on business. "Son'something has happened."

Those words would change Jeff's life forever. Jeff discovered from the official report that a group a rebels jumped the transport group and raided the frigates. Apparently my parents were captured, the report said, that they were brutally tortured concerning information they knew nothing about. Torture was clearly evident on the bodies that Jeff had to identify.

Jeff wanted only revenge against the monsters that did this and immediately joined the Imperial Academy. Driven by his rage he quickly rose to top of his class. If he had waited one more year he would have had the qualifications to join an Interceptor wing, but he couldn't wait. He kept sending requests for duty near the rim, where the rebels were. Soon after he got that chance. He was transferred to a TIE Bomber squadron.

After about a year of duty their TIE bomber squadron was ordered to bomb a suspected Rebel base on Dantooine. There was in fact a rebel base, however, its seize was much larger than intelligence had reported. Their fighter cover was blown away quickly and had to scramble to just try to get back to the Nebulon-B. Jeff managed to separate from the group and had picked up only one X-Wing. He knew he had a chance. However, the pilot on his tail was an obvious Ace, and Jeff's bulky and shieldless bomber was no mach for the X-Wing. Jeff's rage exploded inside him, he wasn't going down alone. He allowed the X-Wing to get closer on his tail while doing his best to avoid its laser fire. When the X-Wing was practically within arms reach. Jeff cut throttle, but as he did his knee moved the stick a bit causing the collision only to sever the X-Wings left wing (it's shields had already been blown in combat with the TIE fighters). His bomber was, however, coming apart at the seems. He last memories of the crash were trying to get back some thruster power before he hit the water of a nearby river.

Jeff awoke with his hands shackled behinds his back, bloody, and completely soaked. The rebel pilot had survived and captured him. While the awaited a transport to come pick them up. Jeff violently cursed at the rebel as he made several attempts to open the lines of communication. Jeff was dragged back to the base for interrogation. After a week, Jeff finally spoke about why he hated the rebels so much. After telling them the story of his parents' demise they related him a different story. Apparently Jeff's parents were running supplies for the Rebellion and during on exchange were ambushed by the Empire. Jeff refused to believe this at first, but when they were able to prove through several R-2 units who still had video documentation of the battle. Jeff was filled rage ten fold that he had felt for rebellion for the Empire which was responsible for his parents death . He wished to right his past wrongs and still to avenge his bold parents.

He joined in with Bandit Wing at first a squadron loosely associated with the rebellion filled with lose cannons and people with shady pasts. He proved himself to be loyal and when the opportunity presented itself he put in a transfer to the Liberty to join Corsair to fly the craft he truly loved, the A-Wing. Porky's bombing history is what got him his nickname, but he always took speed and maneuverability over sheer firepower.

Flight Officer Yan "Mauler" Vaillancourt

Corsair 3

Currently assigned to Renegade Wing; Recon/Interception.
Attached to Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Liberty.

Technical Specialty Imperial Starfighter Combat Tactics
Combat Specialty X-Wing pilot
Side Arm Standard-issue Alliance blaster pistol
Favorite Beverage Alderaanian Brandy
Physical Description Human male, age 26 standard, 1.83m, 94kg, brown hair, grey eyes.

Bio:

Born and raised on Alderaan, Mauler lived throughout his childhood in the rural parts of the planet and longed to join the imperial military, inspired by news of their continuous victories against the "barbaric rebel terrorists".

At age 18, Jeoffrey moved to Alderaan's capital city, and there reveived an education which enabled him to join the imperial academy. Initially signing up for officer training in the Imperial Navy, Mauler quickly became interested in piloting and starfighter combat tactics. He transfered over to Flight School where he graduted with flying color as a TIE Interceptor pilot and was assigned to the Nebulon B Frigate "Impetuous".

After surviving through numerous engagements against Rebels and pirates Jeoffrey quickly became disheartened by the loss of many of his comrades, and the subsequent slaughter of new recutis prematurely sent in the field. By the end of his first year in active duty, he already questionned his loyalty to the Empire... then came news of Alderaan's destruction.

Devastated, Mauler flew on for a couple of mission until the "Impetuous" was ambushed by an Alliance Mon Calamari Cruiser. Knowing defeat was inevitable, Jeoffrey surrendered at the start of the battle and was tractored in the Rebel Cruiser. As he was brought aboard and put in the ship's brig, Mauler knew that the Impetuous, and his friends, had been destroyed and killed.

For months, Jeoffrey had to endure constant interrogations and psychologycal testing, while Alliance intel ran complete background checks on him and eventually came up with nothing. He was reluctantly released and cleared for acceptance in Alliance Flight Training.

Mauler spent over a year training for advanced fighter piloting, which proved much more intense than the one he received from the Empire. Eventually, he reached active status as an X-wing and A-wing pilot, though his marks proved that he was at his best while flying an X-wing.

After a few more months on board an Alliance Strike Cruiser, Mauler was transfered to the Liberty's Corsair Squadron.

Though he now flew against the Empire, he knew that few of his fellow piltos aboard the Strike Cruiser had truly trusted him. However, even he could never shed the doubts that crept in his mind whenever he flew on a mission... wether or not his choice had been right, if it was worth the price he paid for it.

He only hoped that this situation would change aboard the Liberty.

Bio:

Hyp's first recollections of life are on the planet Arah, mining the mineral Derillium for the Empire as a slave. Hyp never knew his family, friends, home planet or even his name. It was many years before he would ever find anything out about his past.

It was Hyp's life to be a slave. The Empire was ruthless, pushing them to the limit. They were never informed about their pasts...since he never knew his name, Hyp received his nickname by his number stitched on his uniform -- 197-HYP. If there was any advantage to being a slave for the Empire, it was growing up around so many different languages. There were slaves from every part of the galaxy working with him. Learning from an early age, Hyp caught on very quickly. In fact, as a child, he was known to start a sentence in one language and end it in another!

Hyp's one true friend was a Wookiee named Hachuttaa. Always there to protect him, Hachuttaa never would leave his side. They cultivated a strong bond and Hyp considered him his only family.

The most tragic day in Hyp's life was when he lost Hachuttaa. Hyp was being beaten severely by an Imperial slave master for "not working to potential". Hachuttaa, unable to bare watching his friend in pain, stepped in. In the ensuing scuffle, Hachuttaa and Hyp killed the Imperial. Hachuttaa took the rap for it and was dragged away by a troop of Imperial grunts, never to be seen again.

The turning point came when the group of slaves Hyp was a part of were loaded upon the ship "Arkanian Dawn", bound for the Arkania system, known for it's large diamond mines. Hyp feared years of forced labor in diamond mines. But fortune had, for once, shined on Hyp as the owner of the ship was Thila, a secret Rebel agent, and the slaves were escorted to freedom. The best part about it, however, was that Thila had retained all records the Empire has on the slaves! Hyp was able to learn his name, age, his home planet (Abbaji, a rain forest covered planet), and that he did have one surviving relative: a brother name Christopher.

Hyp spent the next year doing support work for the Rebels. He helped distribute the pamphlet "A Call to Reason" (while relating the evils he had seen with his own eyes) and aided in the clean-up effort on Empire-attacked planets. He proved himself very handy with a blaster and rifle. And his piloting skills were exceptional. His working knowledge of computer programming was a product of his intense study. But he felt that some of his potential skills were going to waste.

So, he applied to the Starfighter Command to fly against the Empire. The rest is history. Hoping to one day find his lost brother and avenge the hate and death he had seen the Empire deal, Hyp continues to faithfully serve the Rebel Alliance.

Combat Specialty Dogfighting
Side Arm Blastech DL-18 Blaster Pistol, Melee Standard Vibroblade
Favorite Beverage Corellian Brandi with Quarren Ale
Physical Description human male, age 18 standard, 1.8m, 77kg, brown hair, hazel eyes

Bio:

Brendan Cohoe was born on Kessel to parents in the Imperial Civil Service who managed the processing sections of spice plant #HK90070027. His parents placed him in the group cr?che for his raising and promptly forgot about him. This was an all too familiar occurrence on Imperial outposts where parents abdicated their responsibility in favor of the State run institutions.

Life was hard on Kessel, even for the son of two administrators. Brendan grew up with strict rules and turned out to be someone who only looked out for one person and one person only, himself. He became a cook, serving meals to the galactic flotsom and jetsom that the Empire washed up on the shores of the spice mines. Crime lords, common criminals, and the odd political prisoner, Brendan had a first hand look at those who had hit rock bottom in the galaxy.

But with the few credits he earned, and with the political pull of his parents, he bought an old modified version of the T-16 Skyhopper. Teaching himself to fly he soon bid goodbye to the spice mines and made his way to the nearby trading center on Kessel where, in addition to getting a job as a cook, he started a small courier business.

Hired to transport a Sullustan he unwittingly became an accomplice to murder. He landed his passenger at the coordinates specified and waited approximately one hour when, as scheduled, his passenger returned to the transport. But before he could lift off, his hopper was surrounded by Stormtroopers, who took both Brendan and the Sullustan into custody.

It turned out that the Sullustan was involved in a smuggling operation and had just assassinated a high ranking Imperial Officer who had been taking graft from the operation. After being interrogated for several weeks Brendan was sentenced to life imprisonment in the spice mines. He never received any word from his parents and he never saw them again.

Eleven months working in the mines nearly killed him but taught him much about what was happening in the galaxy at large. He learned of the oppression of the non-human races by the Empire and saw the number of political prisoners rise. He also heard of the growing rebellion against the tyranny of the Emperor. While many tried to escape and were killed for their trouble, Brendan watched and waited. His knowledge of the operation of the spice mines, learned from his parents, gave him an advantage that others did not enjoy.

He waited for his chance and managed to s#96968B a breathing apparatus used in the lower levels of the mine that were subject to flooding. With this he took a desperate gamble and sealed himself in with a load of spice. During shipment he managed to extricate himself from the cargo pod and gain entrance to the crew sections of the freighter. Luckily the ship was flying shorthanded and, after a brief (and fatal) struggle with the three crewmen on board, he found himself free.

Brendan managed to jettison the cargo and to pilot the ship deep into the Outer Rim before he succumbed to spice poisoning from his over exposure to the stuff. Luckily, his ship was discovered by elements of the Alliance (Red Squadron) and he was transferred to a hospital ship. After his recovery he joined the Rebellion and applied for a position as a starfighter pilot. Training and combat assignments followed and due to his skill and abilities he was assigned to Buccaneer Squadron.

Squadron Citation Ribbon

Currently assigned to Renegade Wing; Heavy Assault
Attached to Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Liberty.

Technical Specialty Medicine, Xenobiology
Combat Specialty Battlefield Medic
Side Arm Standard Blaster Pistol
Favorite Beverage Corellian Whiskey on the rocks
Physical Description Human male, age 27 standard, height 1.76m, brown hair, brown eyes

Bio:

Mynock was born on a backwards planet of the Elo System. Of Corellian descent, Eloy Cintron grew up on this small colonial settlement located on the Galactic Rim. A quiet and studious individual, he became interested in the medical sciences, applying and being accepted to the Imperial University of Coruscant upon completion of his basic studies. There, in the Imperial Homeworld, he obtained his doctorate in Xenobiology and Medicine, whereupon he was commissioned as a Medical Officer in the Imperial Navy.

His first tour of duty was aboard the Imperial Frigate Enforcer, where he received some formal training in piloting small craft, such as Lambda-class shuttles, as he served double-duty aboard the understaffed frigate. Mynock enjoyed his flight duties, which were primarily shuttling cargo and transporting VIPs, more than his actual medical duties, which were primarily concerned with the programming and maintenance of One-Bee surgical and medical droids. Besides, his skills in xenobiology were largely unused in the human-dominated Imperial navy and were only applied in the treatment of injured or sickened slaves. This constant exposure to the cruel practices of the Empire, along with witnessing massacres such as the vicious conquest of the Mon Calamari homeworld, in which the Enforcer participated, served only to inspire loathing and revulsion for the Empire in the young Elonian.

It was during this time that Medical Officer Cintron was approached by an Alliance Deep Cover operatives. Details of their initial meeting, as well as initial security checks are classified. However, Dr. Cintron was given a set of neutral rendezvous coordinates as well as a special encrypted comm signal access code. During one of his many cargo flight assignments, Mynock decided to make his move. His shuttle was carrying parts for the new Interceptor-class TIE fighters, being developed by the Imperial R&D Division.

During the flight, Dr. Cintron managed to drug the shuttle's command crew and lock the stormtrooper squad assigned to protect the equipment parts in the cargo area, isolated from the parts themselves, thereby ensuring the safety of the shipment. Deviating from his appointed flight path, Mynock hijacked the ship and entered hyperspace to the secure location given to him by Alliance operatives, where he proceeded to activate the secured comm channel. The signal was detected by one a Corvettes, which confiscated the precious cargo.

For his brave actions, Mynock was commended by the Alliance High Command and was given a choice of duty for his service in the fleet. He chose to be trained as a starfighter cadet. He was transported to the Mon Calamari cruiser Independence, where he served with distinction. He has begun to serve his first tour of duty, and is now a member Corsair Squadron aboard the Liberty. It was during his time aboard the Independence that Lieutenant Cintron acquired his nickname, as one of his squad mates commented after a training exercise: "He ain't much to look at, but when he gets you in his sights, he sticks to you like a mynock."

Mynock is a valuable member of the Alliance. He is committed to our ideals and to the downfall of the Galactic Empire. His full potential as a starfighter pilot has yet to be realized, as he is essentially still a rookie, yet his passion for piloting and his tenacious devotion to improve himself, combined with his dedication for practice and quick learning abilities make him a valuable addition to any squadron in our Fleet. Furthermore, his medical training is another important asset, as he can readily double as medical officer for any situation.

Currently assigned to Renegade Wing; Heavy Assault.
Attached to Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Liberty.

Technical Specialty Starfighter Repair
Combat Specialty Two Handed Sword Fighting Style
Side Arm BlasTech DL-18; Lomabian Fighting Sword
Favorite Beverage Suicide Slide
Physical Description Human Male, age 22 standard, 1.61 m. 60 kg., black hair, green eyes

Bio:

Born into the fighting class of the human colony of Lomabi; Jonathan "Valkyrie" Hu was by birthright destined to become a "protector" of the people. In the Lomabi society this was both a high honor and a weighty responsibility.

As he progressed through the rigorous martial training, he also began to study starfighters and their maintenance in his free time. This gave him the knowledge and skills to enable him to make small starfighter repairs in the field. Valkyrie also was trained in the Lomabian Sword fighting style. A Lomabian Fighting Sword is made of a light but strong alloy. It is based on the same principle as the vibro-blade and is activated upon leaving the scabbard. Valkyrie also studied the two handed fighting style of the Mortem and is considered a master at this form of martial combat.

The Lomabians were an proud and honorable race, and when the Empire first came, they accepted a treaty of alliance. However, when the Empire set up a garrison on the planet and stationed a star destroyer in orbit, the Lomabians became wary. When asked to remove the garrison and star destroyer (something allowed under the treaty they and the Imperium had signed), the Empire reacted in violent force. The Lomabians retaliated with violence of their own, ten-folded by their anger at being betrayed. Realizing that their planet would eventually be overrun, the Lomabians decided to evacuate.

Valkyrie was assigned to Vermilion Flight, the flight of four Y-Wings which were to defend the last of the fleeing transports carrying the population off Lomabi. While safe-guarding the last group of transports, Valkyrie was carried away in the heat of battle and strayed too far from the transports while skirmishing with the TIEs which were attacking the main diversionary force. When Imperial reinforcements appeared Vermilion Flight was cut off from rejoining the ships they were guarding. Resulting from this major tactical mistake, the last group of transports were destroyed, one of which was carrying Valkyrie's girlfriend, Katrina.

Cut off and outnumbered, Valkyrie's entire flight was lost, and he soon found himself fighting alone. Finally, with most of his systems inoperable, he initiated the hyperdrive sequence, but a malfunction caused a failure in his astromech he came out of hyperspace far from the known areas of the Outer Rim. Wounded in the battle he managed to land is damaged craft on the planet, Mortem, a rather desolate place with a hostile environment where only the strong survived. Here he learned of the drink called a Suicide Slide, which became his favorite to this day. Valkyrie stayed on Mortem until he had healed in body and spirit and learned the ways of their fighting arts which were similar to that of the Lomabians. Having repaired his Y-Wing he departed and went in search of the rebellion, word of which had reached even the backwater world of Mortem. After searching for many months, he finally made contact with the rebels and came to the Cruiser Liberty where he joined the fight against the Empire as a pilot in Buccaneer.

Due to the loss of his girlfriend, he is often passive, and rarely extends himself outward to others. Though when his friendship is gained, his loyalty is unmatched. He will aid the Rebellion in as many ways as he can.

Lieutenant-JG Pashk "Silk" V'tikan

Flight Control Officer

Squadron Citation Ribbon

Currently assigned to Renegade Wing Support Staff, attached to Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Liberty.

Technical Specialty Capital Ship/Starfighter Tactics
Combat Specialty Espionage
Side Arm Vibro Rapier
Favorite Beverage Vodka Martini
Physical Description Bothan Male; height 1.43 m; Weight 66 kg; Black and Silver fur with silver eyes. No visible scars

Pashk was born on Bothawui where he lived with his aunt and uncle. At a suitable age Pashk entered the Bothan military academy where he was trained in the combat arts as well as espionage. It was in the academy that Pashk found his true skill though. He was a fair spy or ground troop, but his real skills were in coordinating capital ships and starfighter units. Under Pashk's coordination, the survival rate for pilots was the highest the academy had seen in years. Pashk graduated top in his class just months after the battle of Yavin and was part of Borsk Fey'lya's group of Bothans that joined the Rebellion.

It was only a short time before Pashk and Borsk locked horns. As a politician, Borsk Fey'lya never had much respect for the lives of soldiers. So when a Bothan task force, with Borsk in command, was ordered to the aid of a group of Mon Cal light cruisers, Borsk was reluctant to go. Upon arriving in system, the Bothan made a quick survey of the situation and declared it hopeless, though the situation was far from it. Borsk ordered Pashk to give the Omega signal and to have his fleet withdraw. Pashk refused. He knew that the withdrawal of the Bothans from the battle would leave a small Rebel fleet outgunned and out of luck. Instead, Pashk ordered all fighters to attack and clear a path for the fleet. With this daring move, all the Rebel ships were able to withdraw safely.

Borsk was furious; he had Pashk removed from the bridge and had him placed on report. Soon after that battle, Borsk saw to it that he was reassigned to a backwater system, where he was flight controller for a run down task force of R-41 Starchasers and a bulk cruiser.

However, Pashk's bravery was not forgotten. The commander of the Mon Cal task force, a then-Captain Ra'Kaat, gave a report praising the "daring use of starfighters" that allowed his task force to escape. It was later "leaked" to now-Admiral Ra'Kaat that the flight controller who had given the order to the fighters had been reassigned to small and unimportant Rim system. That was all Admiral Ra'Kaat needed. With a few quick requests he had the young Bothan reassigned to the CRS Liberty as the Flight Control Officer.

Flight Officer Allista "Alli" Ralter

Corellian Transport Pilot

Currently assigned to Renegade Wing Support Staff, attached to Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Liberty.

Technical Specialty Intelligence
Combat Specialty Transport Pilot
Side Arm Blaster Pistol
Favorite Beverage Unknown
Physical Description Human female, age: 18, brown hair, blue/green eyes

Alli, in some terms, was a troublemaker. She was always playing tricks on the Imperials on Kalist 6. More than once she was called to the head director's office for a 'chat' about her behavior. On one of these occasions she was beat up pretty bad and her older brother Dack couldn't take it anymore. With their parents gone and no known outside family to contact, they fled in the night from the Imperial labor camp.

They both carried out odd jobs across the galaxy, going on any leads they could find about relatives. Their search was a hopeless cause, even if they did find them, would they take in two scruffy looking kids? When word reached them about the Rebellion's victory at Yavin, Dack was ready to drop everything and join them. With a smirk, Alli complained about how they were so close to finding the rest of their family and that they couldn't give up for him wanting to go off and play hero. But Dack snapped back, telling her that it would never happen- that there was no one left but them. With a silent nod she gathered her gear and turned to her brother asking when they were leaving.

Two years later they found themselves in the Rebellion. Dack, 20, was turning out to be a heck of a pilot while Alli, 17, was busy learning to be an intelligence agent. The hard work paid off as the Rebels moved to their newly built base on Hoth. Dack was paired with Commander Luke Skywalker as his gunner as his sister gagged every time he bragged about it. There wasn't much for Alli to do around the base: the Command Center was at a full and the techs had the snow-speeders adapted to the cold weather in a matter of days. She was cold, freezing?and bored.

On the day of her 18th birthday, reports were sent in about Imperial Walkers entering the 5th marker. Alarms rang through out the base as Dack rushed to his snow-speeder with Alli close at his heels. He put all his gear on as his sister begged him not to go. With a sly grin he told her everything would be all right and he would meet her at the rendezvous point they were assigned to. She took hold of his arm as he reached for his helmet, explaining a dream she had had that night?a dream of him dieing. Dack chuckled and told her it was nothing. With his helmet, he motioned to the first transport that was being loaded with a few crates. "If anything goes wrong, anything at all, you get onboard that transport," he ordered her. Then he smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "I'll be fine, Alli," Dack said as he climbed into the snow-speeder, "Don't forget to remind me to bring a piece of a walker back to you, Mynock." She grinned and replied, "I wont you nerf-herder." As was foretold, everything did get worse. The Main Power Generator had fallen and the base was being evacuated. With a reluctant sigh, she boarded a transport and waited for her brother to join her.

Days later, a message arrived for her with a small package. Her face turned pale as she read over the note. He was gone... dead. Caught by the Alliance, skinned and eaten by the Empire. She didn't know who to hate more: the Alliance or the Empire. With a heavy heart, she opened to find what was left of her brother's belongings. A few shirts, some pictures of them, a flight suit, an extra helmet, a watch their father had given them, and a small wrapped box with a card. It was her birthday present long since forgotten. Alli cried as she saw her mother's heart-shaped locket inside with a note from Dack sending his best wishes. She didn't know what to do. A week later she was transferred to the Liberty where she is awaiting further orders.

Combat Specialty Sniper
Side Arm Rovar AR holdout blaster
Favorite Beverage Jones Soda
Physical Description Human male, age undeclared, 1.63m, blond hair, hazel eyes.

Bio:

Nick as a young boy grew up rather quickly. His family owned a subspace refueling platform orbiting Turkana III. Nick's father, Dave, was quick to get his only son into the field of Starship analysis. Nick excelled, especially in the area of Navigational Systems on most ships that he came in touch with. He successfully got a junk Blockade runner working again and became a great help as a flight maintenance technician.

While working on the station a group of merchants jumped into the system on a Modified Corvette and requested immediate help due to a malfunction of their navigational system. Nick was quick to help. When it turned out that the Merchants had lost all of their credits due to a pirate raid they offered Nick an A-Wing starfighter in return for his services.

Soon after acquiring the A-Wing, Nick had tought himself to fly it. The speed, agility, and swivel lasers of the ship put him up against a new challenge. He adapted and became a well trained starfighter pilot and excelled in combat maneuverability. He spent most of his time targeting small drones and became a excellent sharp shooter.

Talyn was out on a small exhibition flight when a Calamari Cruiser jumped in to the sector at about 3 klicks away. The long range sensor pack identified it as the Alliance CRS Liberty. He had never seen a ship that size before and before he knew it two Nebulon b-2 modified Frigate's arrived and began attacking the Liberty. Several snub fighters launched from the hanger of the Liberty, including several from the legendary Rogue Squadron. Nick thre himself into the fray on behalf of the rebel ships.

During the short battle one of the Frigates was badly mauled and both barely anaged to escape. Damaged, the Liberty needed repairs and Nick offered assistance. For his courage, Talyn was offered a position aboard the Liberty as a member of Corsair Squadron. Nick jumped at the offer to join the Alliance cause and has served the Alliance ever since.

Technical Specialty Hyperspace Physics
Combat Specialty Combat Marksmanship
Side Arm DL-44
Favorite Beverage Anything Alcoholic
Physical Description Human male, Age: 27 standard, Height: 1.72m Hair: Brown, Eyes: Green

Bio:

Philip's earliest memory was of the Imperial Academy, under the name of Carg Varia. He was 18 with no memories of his life before enrolling to the Academy after extensive medical treatment. He excelled as a pilot but was overlooked many times during squad placement. He was eventually assigned to tie interceptor squadron Iota on the Strike Cruiser Ironhand. He was soon given the callsign 'Remorseless' and became a respected member of his squadron. On his 19th birthday, he was flying in a raid on a suspected 'Rebel Base' in the Outer Rim when his ship was disabled. After taking a heavy beating the Ironhand and the 2 Victory Star Destroyers retreated, leaving him helpless in space with very little oxygen left. He sent out a surrender message as he blacked out...

He woke up on a Rebel freighter, where he was questioned before being imprisoned. He was being shipped to another Rebel base when he was able to escape by stealing a shuttle. He returned to the Ironhand's command sector where he was soon rejoined with his squadron.

Over the next few weeks his dreams were plagued by strange visions of an unknown freighter being attacked. He would be in control of the freighter while a Z-95 snubfighter was escorting them -- he was within a planet's atmosphere and his engines had just been blown away by 6 TIE bombers, he was going down and there was no way to prevent the inevitable crash. Other images also intruded on his dreams, they included images of a family, on a peaceful world, miles away from the Imperial wars. It was the eve of his 21st birthday when the dreams seemed to reveal a set of coordinates. Stealing a shuttle, he left the Ironhand to pursue the strange images.

On his arrival in the sector he found a habitable system. Feeling a strange sense of familiarity and emboldened by the system's presence, he chose the planet he felt most familiar with and landed. Exploring the planet he felt strangely at peace as the landscape triggered more images, more memories of his previous life, of his family, and his true name. The knowledge of the planet led his to a spaceport he had seen in his visions. He asked about the freighter he had seen in his visions and he was directed to a nearby farm. On entry to the farm he was recognized and he was first called by his real name, Philip Lane. He spent the next year on the strange world, with his memories slowly returning. During this time he discovered that there had been a young man who had shipped on the freighter and survived the attack, then told his family of Philip's 'death' and left.

He left the world, attempting to find his old friend, but with no name and only a vague description, he lost his trail on an unknown planet. There he survived as an assassin and he began drinking heavily as a way of escaping reality. After six months, he managed to stop drinking and sort out his life. He eventually heard a report that his friend had met some Rebels and had left to join them. Boarding a stolen X-wing, he left to find the rebels...

He eventually found a freighter under Imperial attack from half a squadron of squints. He flew in and took out half the squints on his first surprise charge. He turned and locked on to another interceptor, weaving and turning on his six, then fired a quad blast to vape him. By now, the two remaining interceptors had turned to target him. Charging straight towards him, he vaped one of them but the others destroyed his flight controls as it passed. Sitting and waiting for the end, he heard over the radio the sound of two A-Wing pilots...

He signed up to join the Alliance, received the callsign 'BlackViper', and is now awaiting placement in a squadron, hoping to find his old friend...

Bio:

Michael Lee Chun To was born to a middle class family on Grand IV. Michael was a promising student who wished to study science at the University on Coruscant. Unfortunately, just before sitting for the entrance exams, the plans he had for his future were shattered. The governor of the Grand system, Moff Quarrel, had increased the tax rate again and again. Local organizations started a revolution and finally the government was toppled. Soon, they announced they had joined the Rebel Alliance. Palpatine was outraged. To set an example for any other systems who would dare to defy him, Imperial forces launched a massive attack on Michael's planet, ordering an orbital bombardment of the capital city. Unable to resist, those with means tried to flee the ruin and destruction aided by the local Rebels. But the Rebels could only save a handful of the population and while Michael lived, his entire family was killed in the Emperor's retribution.

A boy alone in a large galaxy, he soon realized that tears were futile and that he must put away the feelings of a child and make the decisions of an adult. He realized that he could just try to survive, to bend to whatever fate had in store, or he could try to make a difference, try to change things for the better even though it seemed futile. He had no thoughts of revenge, only a burning desire to set things right. To, in some small way, help others avoid the crushing heel of Imperial oppression. And so he found his way to the Outer Rim and made contact with the Rebel Alliance. At the local academy he received intensive training both in fighter and bomber courses. One year later, he finished the course with the highest score. With two other classmates, they jumped ship and joined the Alliance to fight on the side of freedom.

He had his first combat mission when he was 16 year old. The mission objective was to intercept the imperial task force advancing to Duke system, which have just announced joined the Rebel Alliance. He knew that now he really was making a difference and that the lives of many people would be affected by his actions. In that battle he distinguished himself with 16 confirmed kills and assisted the Y-Wing squadron in a Star-Destroyer attack by knocked down its shield generators. The task forces had been broken down temporarily, and the evacuation was a total success. After that mission, he was promoted to Lieutenant and became the executive officer of his X-Wing Squadron.

Gaining skill and experience he was soon known as one of the best (and youngest) pilots in the Alliance. When the B-Wing fighter/bomber was deployed by Admiral Ackbar, Michael was chosen as one of the first pilots to test the craft in combat conditions.

My parents were killed shortly after my birth and I was led to believe they were slaughtered by the rebellion. I was given the name Wedge Gaven. I was brought up by a blood thirsty bounty hunter and taught in the ways of the mercenary.

However, when I came of age he urged me to enlist in the Imperial Naval Academy. After graduation, I discovered classified documentation that showed my parents were killed by my bounty hunter guardian at the request of the Empire. I was to be given the name Wedge Gaven and enlisted in the Navy. The document also revealed my true name.

On my first patrol in a ship with hyperdrive I deserted and adopted my real name. I then enlisted with the Alliance and developed a relationship with Kas Slom. On a mission to knock out an Imperial cruiser she was taken out by a TIE interceptor which left me distraught enough to make me leave the rebellion.

To earn my food I was forced to sell my services as a mercenary. On one of these jobs I met my former guardian. We fought, but he had the upper hand and he was about to do away with me a man stepped from the shadows and knocked him unconscious.

As I picked up my fallen blaster and prepared to pull the trigger I looked at the man who had raised me and paused. The moment stretched and as it did so I heard the Imperial authorities come up from behind, forcing me and my savior to run.

The man, Ouvir, was a teacher and spiritualist and became my mentor for the following two years until his death from old age. At the end of this time I realized what I must do and so with the help of Ouvir's little droid I re-enlisted with the Alliance as an A-wing pilot.

Bio:

Rafael "-Hyl-" Costa Guerra was born on the planet Yavin-VIII, one of the three planets able to support human life in the Yavin System. A top secret Imperial lab with researchers and technical staff was researching human physiology there, and it was there that his parents met. His father was one of the researchers and his mother an expert in human body alterations in space. After three years the program was cancelled and they left to join a new research project.

-Hyl- started studying human physiology at an early age, but when he was 19 his parents and eight others defected from the Empire in protest against the projects they were working on and made their escape in a stolen shuttle. An Imperial shuttle with stormtroopers docked with their ship, but an Alliance task force arrived to help. A commando unit boarded the ship making them prisoner. After a few days and a lot of questions they were released by the Alliance but all decided to stay and help the rebellion. -Hyl- started at the Academy and after one year of training at the Rebel training facilities and on the Flag Ship Independence, -Hyl- applied to Corsair Squadron and was granted his commission. At this point, his parents were working together as alliance researchers.

-Hyl- joined the Rebel Alliance because, as a pilot, he could be a useful tool against the Evil Empire (more useful than as a researcher, in his opinion). He applied to Corsair squadron because he could live with and learn from the most qualified pilots in the alliance, Rogue Squadron. Ever since -Hyl- read the Hoth debriefing report describing Rogue's fight against the Imperial walkers (AT/ATs), he has been honing his skills in the hopes of some day becoming a Rogue member. Still with more experience in the simulator than in real ships, -Hyl- is increasing his skills quickly and hopes to contribute to Corsair Squadron.

-Records Update-

After having served with distinction in Corsair Squadron, Rafael suddenly requested a transfer out of a space combat unit. The details of what lead to this request for a tranfer are known only by a few Alliance personel. The Alliance rumor mill has it that -Hyl- witnessed the death of an Imperial pilot on a close head on flyby during the [CLASSIFIED] Operation and Rafael believed the Imperial to be an old acquantaince of his that he helped kill in combat. Alliance Medical Staff believes that -HYL- has suffered from a severe emotional distress know as "Laser Shock" following this incident, but at this time cannot confirm due to his inability to discuss this alleged incident. Shortly after this incident -HYL- requested an immediate transfer away from combat duty and volunteered to put his talents to use in order to fill the vacant position of Search and Rescue. Rafael believes that this position should not go unfilled and that this position now best suits his intelligence gathering talents. With his droid - Zeesix at his side -HYL- believes he can find a missing or captured pilot anywhere in the galaxy.

Physical Description Human male, 25 standard, black hair, blue eyes, 97.5 kg, 1.8 m tall

Bio:

Born on Carida, home of the Imperial Academy, Josh Caton grew up at the center of the Empire's war machine. His father Feran was lead instructor in the Academy Starfighter Command's Heavy Assault Division. The elder Caton, highly respected among his fellow officers, excelled at turning green young pilots into the elite of the Old Republic's TIE bomber squadrons.

Feran Caton, however, was never very interested in galactic politics. And as a result, Josh's father remained a loyal military man despite the increasingly authoritarian regime of Palpatine. Even as the first flames of rebellion in the galaxy began to burn, Feran continued training his pilots with little thought about rebel claims of tyranny. Above all, Feran Caton was a soldier and loyal to the Navy that he'd served for so long.

As the son of a flight instructor, Josh had flown sims for as long as he could remember. Josh spent countless hours creating engagements for himself to run on the simulator installed at the Caton family home. His father often commented Josh had more hours in the TIE bomber simulator than half the Navy's active pilots.

Then came Alderaan. At the Caridan Academy, none dared speak openly against Tarkin's heinous act. What happened there was too far away to have much of an impact on the 17-year-old Josh. But it served as a wake-up call to his father.

Feran told Josh he could no longer stomach service in Palpatine's military. For his own conscience's sake, he had to stop contributing to the Emperor's power. Yet at the same time, he was too old simply go AWOL and start a new life. Father and son concocted a story where Josh would steal a shuttle and flee the planet, and Feran would resign from the Imperial Navy in mock "shame" for his son's action, free to live out his twilight years in relative peace. Josh lifted off in the dark of the Caridan night and left his father behind for good.

For the first time, Josh was free to live life outside of the military epicenter, away from the toils of war. Under an assumed identity, he enrolled in the University of Charmath in Farfin Sector. He concentrated his studies on writing and literature. Later in his university career, his military upbringing showed itself, as Josh became interested and took courses in naval tactics and strategy.

While at Charmath, Josh was exposed to the more liberal political element--and supporters of the growing Rebellion. Among his friends was an unusual Verpine named Tulk. A rally supporting the Alliance cause was held one afternoon on the steps of Charmath's Seoni Hall. Josh and Tulk were in the crowd when the Imperial governor decided to put an end to the insurrectionist gathering. Stormtroopers, supported by AT-STs, ordered the crowd to disperse. The students only shouted louder, their cries of tyranny justified by the white-clad army staring them down.

It was never determined who fired the first shot. The riot that ensued claimed nearly a hundred lives. Most of the casualties were students. During the massacre, Josh took a blaster bolt in the arm moving Tulk out of the line of fire. When it was over, the University's doors had been closed by the governor, "pending curriculum review."

Unable to arrest the hundreds who participated in the riot, the governor instead chose to place the humans who rioted on probation, and "deport" alien species. It did not take a Charmath educator to know what the governor meant by "deport."

Josh regretted that he never got to say goodbye to Tulk. But Tulk found a way to say thank you to him. Four days after the riot, Josh showed up in the repair bay he and Tulk had spent so many hours in tinkering with starships. There, amazingly, was a stock B-wing starfighter. How the fighter came to be there Josh might never know. But in the cockpit was a hand-scrawled note from Tulk, written in the best Basic the Verpine's insectoid appendages could manage: "Josh ... take this ... and fight." Josh left Charmath a few credits short of a degree.

Using his student contacts, Josh got in touch with an Alliance recruiter. Soon after, he and his B-wing were assigned to fill a hole in Blue Squadron's bomber wing. After a short stint aboard the Happy Jack, Josh was transferred to the Alliance's elite heavy assault unit, Buccaneer Squadron. While still a relatively green pilot, Josh's natural talent and thoughtful approach to combat help him overcome his inexperience.

His R5 unit, R5-I6 or "Ice," is quick thinking little droid that tends to take everything literally. Josh uses flechette weapons as his primary firearms due to an allergy to most forms of blaster gas.

Physical Description Human male, 25 standard, 1.82m, 69kg, blond hair, blue eyes

Bio:

Adam was born the son of a Clone Wars-era fighter pilot on Ghorman. His father raised him and honed his instincts and hand-eye coordination razor sharp by flying different kinds of airspeeders on his homeworld. While he was still in school with dreams of attending the Imperial Academy, Adam's life abruptly took a huge downward turn when his parents were killed by the then-Captain Tarkin in the infamous Ghorman massacre. Crushed by this turn of events, Adam left his homeworld with his inheritance, his dream shattered.

Adam wound up on the Ithorian herd ship Bazaar, low on money and with no friends. His explorations had made him deadly with a blaster pistol, although he preferred not to use deadly force unless absolutely necessary. On the Bazaar, he was approached by an Ithorian mystic named Kol'tar. Kol'tar took Adam in and began to teach him the healing arts. Two years later, Kol'tar proclaimed him ready for the universe and disappeared into the Mother Jungle.

Adam immediately joined the Alliance, volunteering his services as a medic. He served valiantly in this capacity for several months, until a sudden evacuation of a Rebel base forced him behind the controls of a Y-Wing fighter. For his brilliant flying in the evacuation, as well as his masterful wingman skills (he is an expert at keeping attacking fighters off of friendlies on attack runs) he was christened "Guardian."

Another year passed. Guardian fell in love with another pilot named Cori "Angel" Jocert. The two were pledged to be married. Two weeks before the set date, they were flying their Y-Wings in a cover maneuver for a supply convoy. They were jumped by an overwhelming number of TIE Interceptors launched from two Star Destroyers. The cover flight fought valiantly, and the convoy escaped. The Y-Wings began a fallback maneuver, and Guardian and Angel were the last two pilots left, when Angel's craft was hit hard and died in space.

Guardian snapped and ignored his retreat order, falling into an orbit around the stricken Y-Wing and annihilating any TIE that attacked her. Eventually, the TIEs returned to their command ships, and the Destroyers left. Still, Guardian waited, in case the Imperials returned.

Twenty hours later, an Alliance rescue shuttle arrived. They found Guardian still in his fighter, still patrolling the area, but Angel had died before they got there. To this day, Guardian refuses to discuss the incident with anyone, including the commanders who attempted to debrief them. The onboard computer on Guardian's ship is the only surviving witness, and recorded a terrible tale--Guardian swore to remain with Angel until rescue could arrive, but Angel died of asphyxiation in her cockpit, speaking her last words to Guardian.

What is know is that Guardian has requested a change of duty to an A-wing squadron. His commanders think that he blames the slow speed of the Y-Wing as a major factor in Angel's death, and even when he flew Y-Wings he would land, then (if possible) fly out with any rescue craft heading out. He flew for some time with Corsair Squadron, but his skills in the Y-Wing caused high command to reassign him to Buccaneer Squadron.

In any mission where Buccaneer is not needed, Guardian will automatically volunteer as the rescue pilot. Guardian considers himself to be on duty twenty-four-seven, and, as a consequence, avoids alcohol (unless there is absolutely no chance of flying in the next 24 hours). He is a quiet, withdrawn man who prefers to give others the glory and collect life debts that he never intends to cash in on.

Bio:

Marc was born youngest of two siblings, of a rich couple of wood-manufacturers on Cardooine. At the age of 5, his parents moved to a resort space station and took up residence there. As he grew up, he learned the ways of commerce and the natural spying business that goes with it. His parents also decided that he should learn how to fly. They sent him to the Cardooine Aerospace Academy, where he learned to fly Z-95s and Y-wings. His parents and sister were killed in a freak transport accident when he was 11, leaving him an incredible amount of money by way of their will. At first, he stayed with the Academy where he graduated, but after, he simply flaunted his money on trips around the galaxy.

One day, in the Obroa-Skai system, as his personal shuttle left a docking bay, a Star Destroyer dropped out of hyperspace and took control of the station. Everybody, including him, was taken down to interrogation. As he was young, the Imperials started by a level 15 interrogation, leaving him in fairly good shape afterwards. A guard came in one day to bring him to the transfer turbolift and then he struck. He killed the guard and took the the guard's uniform and the security pass. As he headed out toward a shuttle bay, he saw through a transparisteel window a level-1 interrogation going on. The images of that moment are sealed into his mind forever. He broke into the cell and shot the Intelligence Agent and the stormtrooper inside. He helped the young prisoner, a woman, and brought her with him to the docking bay. He shot two technicians and got on a Skipray BlastBoat. As he took the Skipray into hyperspace, the young woman woke up. Her name was Lyrtia Desori; she was a native of Toprawa and a Rebel Intelligence Agent. She was undecover to find out information on the defense of Obroa-Skai. She explained to him what the Rebel Alliance stood for, and more and more he thought that the ideals of the Rebellion were his ideals as well.

They headed to the Rebel Base on Hoth, where he joined up with the Rebel Alliance. But before he became a pilot, the Empire struck at Hoth. He piloted a Shuttle, carrying Lyrtia and other Intelligence officers, out of the system. After the disaster at Hoth, he joined the Starfighter Division of the RAAF ( Rebel Alliance Armed Forces), where he became a pilot in a month and joined up with Blue Squadron. After six months of hard work and fighting the Empire in Blue Squadron, he applied to be a pilot in the Renegade Wing. He transmitted his application to Corsair Leader, but was denied his application since Corsair Squadron contained a full billet of pilots. Seeing that Buccaneer Squadron had an opening he returned to the simulator and attempted to change his flight qualifications to heavy assault. After another month of intense training, he gained the proper credentials to send an application to Buccaneer Squadron.

Bio:

Josh "Hellcat" Kinney was born and raised on the Correllian Transport Merciful where he spent most of his childhood life running cargo missions with his parents, but never knew what exactly they were shipping in some cases. Having lived most of his life on board a cargo ship he never really got the chance to make friends and therefore was, and still is in a way, shy to most people he encountered when he and his parents took down-planet time to relax. While on relief time, his father would take Josh out in forested areas of the planets they stayed at to hunt and hone on target practice, which would benefit for him in his later years. Soon developing into a crack shot artist with his fathers blastech pistol, Josh wanted to take his precision weaponry training to a starfighter cockpit but instead had to settle for the gun turrets of the Merciful.

Having heard his sons pleas to pilot a starfighter, his father got in touch with an old friend of his who was a starfighter captain stationed on board an Alliance space platform, who generously allowed Hellcats father to borrow his fighter when they landed to refuel and resupply the Merciful. After a brief explanation on controls within the cockpit of the Z-95, Hellcat was soon in space twisting, turning, looping, and rolling all over the place enjoying the time of his life as his father looked on noticing his sons skills within the cockpit of a starfighter. Finally landing on board the station, Hellcat thanked his fathers friend for allowing him to fulfill his dream to pilot a fighter and with that out of the way the Merciful took off to complete its cargo run.

To make a long story short, Hellcat, now 18, was on a cargo run with his parents to an outpost on the galactic rim when they were pulled out of space by an indictor cruiser. Having been told to take the evacuation shuttle, Hellcat left the Merciful only to witness it soon being destroyed after his parents turned to attack it. Soon the Alliance Calamari Cruiser Torgo dropped out of hyperspace to finish off the interdictor. When the battle was over Hellcat requested to join the Alliance as a pilot and was placed into Phoenix squadron on board the Cruiser Windstorm.

While on patrol one day, however, Phoenix squadron along with two other squads and their mothership Windstorm, were ambushed by 3 Star Destroyers and an Interdictor Cruiser. Heavily outnumbered and outgunned the pilots of the Windstorm fought with courage and luck destroying numerous enemy fighters and heavily damaging one of the Star Destroyers, but the sheer numbers of the Imps caught up to the Rebel pilots as one by one they were overwhelmed. With things starting to look bad on the Rebel pilots and the Windstorm itself, as it was taking fire from all sides, relief support showed up with the arrival of the Calamari Cruiser Jackrabbit and Frigate Evesdropper dropping out of hyperspace. The odds were about even once again, as the Imps started taking there loses. The battle soon ended leaving the Empire with 1 less Star Destroyer, the other 2 damaged and an Interdictor Cruiser damaged as well. Many of the Imperial pilots were floating in space or flying around in non-hyperdrive ships until they agreed to surrender to the Alliance. The battle, though a success, took its toll on Phoenix squadron and her sister squads as most were either destroyed or badly injured while the Windstorm hypered to a repair depot in the next system. Josh "Hellcat" Kinney landed on board the Evesdropper and kept to himself for awhile, looking over the battle in his mind. After a long conclusion Hellcat decided to leave the Windstorm because of so many memories left on board. He knew hed never be able to go back again because of the times spent with its crew and dead pilots and therefore sought out on his own in his squadron X-wing seeking a new home with a different squadron.

Bio:

Joel Phelps was born in Anchorhead on Tatooine, but he grew up in Mos Eisley. His parents had a small space trade business. Joel accompanied his dad on some business trips, and showed a knack for piloting the ship. At the age of 14 Joel's parents were killed on a business trip gone sour. Joel had to live on the streets of Mos Eisley, but he vowed to get the man responsible.

One year later he was taken in by a small-time smuggler who taught him how to fly, to use a blaster and to fight. When he had enough money, Joel bought his own ship and struck out on his own. He smuggled cargo for some large smugglers as well as some bounty hunting. Shortly after the Battle of Hoth, Joel started hauling cargo for the Alliance. They asked him if he would join, but he declined, stating he wanted to stay neutral.

Then, Joel discovered that the Empire was responsible for his parents' death. Joel joined the Alliance to get revenge on the Empire. He asked to join a starfighter squadron. Joel thought he was a promising recruit. He felt his skills were well above average, and he was right. Joel had great scores on his training flights, but his training officer, Capt. Jack Carlton, didn't like his style and deliberately changed his scores. Because of this Joel was unable to graduate and earn his flight wings.

He returned to hauling cargo for the Alliance. He had given up all hope of ever flying in a combat squadron. After several supply runs to the Calamari Cruiser Liberty, he made some friends among the pilots in Renegade Wing.

On one occasion they asked him if he would like to fly a simulation mission with them for fun. He agreed, and after the mission was over they thought he was a very skillful pilot. His friends asked why he hadn't joined a starfighter squadron. Joel said he tried but his scores were not high enough to graduate.

With some help from Renegade Wing pilots, Joel was able to uncover that his scores modified. He was given his wings, and Capt. Carlton was disciplined accordingly. Joel was given a commission in Corsair Squadron in Renegade Wing.

Bio:

Gabriel grew up on Celanon where his family lived in a little village at the foot of one of the highest mountains. His mother started to drink when he was young, and not long after was found lying dead on the street. His father never really got over the tragedy, and so he hid in his work, hardly ever coming home. Gabriel and his sister had to look out for themselves.

Whenever he could, Gabriel would go to the nearby spaceport and watch the shuttles and transports land and take off. He was fascinated by space flight. When he was old enough, he applied to and was awarded a job as a transport pilot for the local Search and Rescue team, put together specifically for lost mountain climbers in his village. He learned to fly quite quickly and was soon hired by a Tour Corporation to fly their Luxus-Liners.

One fateful day, he left on a four-day tour. When he came back, his eyes lighted upon a mountain of snow. His whole village had been destroyed by an avalanche. His father, his sister, his friends all perished. He learned later that they had been surprised during the night and were unable to evacuate.

Overcome with despair, Gabriel attempted to leave the planet, but his contract with the tour corporation made him stay there. He moved to Celanon City, which was pretty much the farthest he could get from his hometown.

His view of the world changed enormously after he moved to the city. He heard about the Galactic War, and how Palpatine was slowly taking overrunning the Imperial Senate. He still had his job at the tour corporation, but eventually he began to feel that he wanted to do more with his life, something something that would mean something.

As he was flying a tour one day, Imperial troops boarded his liner with the explanation that there was a Rebel spy onboard. The spy didn't surrender, so the Imperial officer gave the order to kill everyone on the ship -- except Gabriel. He managed to flee into an escape pod and made it safely to the surface.

The Imperial troops had already occupied Celanon City in search for a Rebel group that was apparently being housed on Celanon. Most of the population left at that moment, including Gabriel. They fled to a Rebel Calamari Cruiser transporting supplies for a nearby convoy.

After dropping off their cargo, the cruiser headed for the nearest Alliance planet. However, upon arriving at the planet, they were attacked by Imperials. Since the cruiser didn't have enough fighter pilots onboard, Gabriel and some other refugees were recruited immediately and sent out to fight. It was a bloodbath. Hardly anyone from either side survived. Gabriel and a few other survivors managed to drive off what remained of the Imperial force.

The Rebels, impressed by their skill, didnt waste time and sent Gabriel and the others to the CRS Independence for training. There, Gabriel earned his callsign -- everytime he completed a mission successfully, he would let off a long howl, so his mates started to call him Wolfman. After completing his training, Wolfman was transferred to the Liberty, where he served in Corsair Squadron, before completing his goal and being reassigned to Rogue Squadron.

Bio:

As a boy growing up on Contruum, Lin avidly studied the history of military space combat. His father was the owner of a shipping company, and Lin spent many an hour sitting outside the fence of the military hangar watching starfighters launch into space. He was fascinated by the sheer power they represented, and also idolized the warriors who flew them in his mind. Due to his many hours here, he was able to gain an intuitive sense of flight control at a spaceport. Combined with his compulsion to organize everything he could get his hands on, he soon got a part-time job as an assistant flight controller at the spaceport.

When he reached the legal age to fly, Lin eagerly applied for a permit and began training in simulators. However, he was by far the worst in his training class. During one simulator run, he was rolling his Z-95 in pursuit of a target drone when he collided into the exhaust pipes of his instructor. From then on, he had earned the nickname "Blindman,"as in "Flies like a." From there, Lin went on to post the lowest sim scores of his class, but just barely managed to not wash out.

On the first day of actual starfighter flying, Lieutenant Pash Cracken was on leave from the Imperial Academy and had been invited to give a talk to the trainees. However, an Imperial Intelligence agent had determined the true nature of Lieutenant Cracken's father's loyalties, and decided to take it upon himself to send General Airen Cracken, and the Rebellion, a personal message. Unfortunately, he placed the bomb meant for the younger Cracken in the ship that Lin had been assigned for that exercise. Upon hearing the explosion, the other trainees and flight instructors quickly converged on what had been a Z-95 and a lousy young pilot. Now, however, the starfighter was a wreck and the pilot was blown a good fifteen meters away with horrible physical damage.

Lin spent a good part of the next two weeks bobbing up and down in various bacta tanks, and while his body and face eventually healed, the nerves and tissue of his eyes were irreparably destroyed. Lin's given callsign was now more than a joke. While he was eventually fitted with high-tech visor that fed images directly to his brain, he could only distinguish black and white murky shapes. Needless to say, his not-so-promising career as a pilot was cut short.

While the rest of his class went on to graduate and obtain their piloting licenses, Lin was now learning the frustrations of dealing with a physical disability. Because of the nerve damage, he was unable to be fit with artificial eyes. While the visor enabled him to see and react to objects, he could not see details such as dials on a starfighter console, or more tragically, faces on people. He gradually became withdrawn from his family and friends, dropping out of school, and becoming a recluse.

His parents, worried about his mental health, decided to send him to a professional psych-anaylst. Chartering him a place on a freighter, they sent him off. However, the freighter captain was smuggling spice and soon after takeoff was accosted by a TIE fighter patrol. An extended laser blast caused the communications console to explode in the captain's face, killing him. In a panic, Blindman grabbed the flightstick. With no way to talk to the TIEs, he felt around for the throttle and threw it to full. Then, something strange happened. Although his shattered eyes remained as blank as ever, he could _feel_ the Imperial pilots in his mind and sense their positions. While dodging their fire, he groped for the freighter's cannon control and set it to auto-fire. Within seconds, the TIEs had been reduced to smoking rubble. However, the last starfighter managed to shoot out the freighter's engines before succumbing to a hail of laser fire.

Adrift in space, with a damaged comm and no engines, Lin was in deep trouble. Searching the freighter's holds, though, he managed to find a shipment of some exotic fruit juice blend. When two Corsair Squadron pilots dropped out of hyperspace two weeks later to take nav coordinates, they found a young, scared man in the derelict freighter's hull.

On board the Liberty, the officers conducting his debriefing were completely bewildered by Lin's story. How could a physically blind man possibly pilot a ship -- in combat, no less? It seemed completely absurd. After some pleading, they allowed him to take a piece-of-junk Z-95 out on a training mission with some of the other trainees, if just to satisfy their curiosity. In case he really _was_ blind, they could take control of the fighter by remote control.

Amazingly, the blind pilot did not run into anyone else, and actually ranked in the top third for that mission. Surmising that Lin had some small affinity for the Force that gave him something akin to a pilot's situational awareness, Corsair Squadron accepted him for further training -- and if nothing else, he would make a great bar story.

Physical Description Human male, age 23 standard, 1.8m, 90kg, red hair, brown eyes.

Bio:

Joseph was born in the Rendaii Star System at a worker colony for the Rendaii Imperial Shipyards. Joseph's father who was a ship designer for the Imperial Navy allowed Joseph to visit the Shipyard and to look at the various ships as they were being designed. Joseph's knowledge of ships grew and he soon became as adept at designing as his father was. He was allowed to fly in the fighter sims when he reached the age of 15 and he soon became a master at the quick, agile ships such as the TIE Interceptor and newly developed TIE Advanced. It was becoming quite clear that Joseph would pursue his future in the Imperial Navy.

By the time Joseph was 18 he was a superior pilot to those at the shipyard. He was scheduled to transfer to the Imperial Academy at Corulag the next day. As fate or the Force would have it, this was not to be. Imperial Intelligence had learned that someone on Joseph's father's design team was sending the newest blueprints to the rebels. The Imperials immediately killed everyone in the research team and their families without an investigation. Joseph was out testing a TIE Advanced when he received word of the Imperial execution of his family. Joseph flew into a rage at his family's death and at the lack of justice in the Imperial system. He launched his ship into a head on attack on the Imperial Shipyards. Though he did little damage to the heavily armoured shipyard, he destroyed several TIE Fighters that were sent to oppose his onslaught. Finally realizing he was outnumbered and outgunned he swore on his life that he would destroy Empire. With that Joseph set course for Corellia and made the run to light speed.

Joseph began his new life on Corellia and offered himself and his ship as guns-for-hire. He was quickly offered a job as an escort fighter for the Corellian Corvette Jadestone. He spent a few years fighting off pirate attacks until, on a supply mission to the small rebel fighter base on the planet Tierfon the Jadestone was ambushed by an Imperial taskforce consisting of an Assault Transport and a flight group of Assault Gunboats. Joseph and the two Z-95 Headhunters on escort moved to intercept the incoming Imperial attackers so that the Jadestone had some time and a small chance to jump to safety. The Z-95's quickly fell victim to missiles from the gunboats. Knowing there was no way he could win in a pitched battle against the gunboats Joseph resolved to save the Jadestone from capture by leading the Imperials away. He quickly fired two concussion missiles into the ATR's engines, igniting the fuel cells and consuming the transport in a wave of fire. The gunboats, seeing the destruction of their ATR moved to engage Joseph, but Joseph made a run through a field of giant frozen asteroids. The gunboats followed Joseph into the Ice field, but not having the same manoeuvrability as Joseph's TIE Advanced they were all quickly destroyed by the frozen asteroids. Just as Joseph was exiting the Ice field to rejoin the Jadestone he was hit by a piece of asteroid that crushed his starboard engine. Joseph just barely managed to limp back to the corvette on one engine and docked. His run through the Ice field had earned him the nickname "Icestorm" with the crew. The captain of the Jadestone, who had become Joseph's good friend, said he could get his TIE repaired at the rebel outpost they were heading for.

At the outpost while waiting for his ship to be repaired Joseph was offered the chance to try out a Rebel A-Wing fighter, he agreed and immediately fell in love with the sleek nimble craft. Joseph also realized that the Rebel Alliance would be his perfect chance to get his vengeance against the Empire for the death of his family. He quickly signed up as an A-Wing pilot, but he was forced to abandon his Tie-Advanced. He donated his ship to the Alliance, but melted of a piece of the starboard wing that he had formed into a double barrel heavy carbine. Joseph was first assigned to Commander Varth's Wing under Lieutenant Pash Cracken's A-Wing squadron. After flying with them for a year he requested transfer to the famed Corsair Squadron on the Calamari Cruiser Liberty where the best of the best A-Wing pilots were.

Joseph will continue his promise of destroying the Empire, even if it means his life.

Technical Specialty Sabotage
Combat Specialty Space Superiority
Side Arm Stouker Concussion Rifle
Favorite Beverage Corellian Aftershock
Physical Description Corellian male, age 18 standard, 1.9 m, 79 kg, brown hair, eye color: Blue

Bio:

Jonathan was the son of a smuggler from the Corellian System. When he was, young his father's ship was raided by the Empire. His family was killed, their property impounded, and Jonathan was taken away to be brought up in a correctional facility on Coruscant. He kept his hatred for the Empire to himself until the chance for revenge arose.

Once old enough to leave the facility, he got a job with a friend of his father's on another smuggling ship. There he flew a Z-95 against the Empire's fighters in missions where his smuggling group stole weapons and other goods from the Empire. Many of his new friends were killed when the Empire finally caught up with the small group and dealt a fierce blow to their forces. Jonathan barely escaped with his life and his ship. He then sought work as a mercenary pilot, where he earned enough money to carry out the next stage of his battle against the Empire. Jonathan vowed to get even, and once he had enough money, he bought a newer, more powerful ship -- a Y-wing starfighter. Jonathan then embarked on a series of independent torpedo-bombing attacks against minor Imperial targets.

Apart from getting the attention of the Empire and a substantial bounty on his head, his actions caught the interest of the Rebel Alliance, who sent a representative for discussions about putting his "feelings" for the Empire to a more productive use. Jonathan then joined the Alliance, where he gained a reputation for efficiency as well as the nickname Condor, which he earned with his prowess in combat. He began his career in Blue Squadron where he served in the Bomber TSW, but after a few months transferred to Corsair Squadron, where he hopes to fulfill his desire to pay back the Empire and its starfighter pilots.

Technical Specialty Long Range Scout/Test Pilot
Combat Specialty Fencing Instructor
Side Arm Vibrosabre and Standard Blaster
Favorite Beverage Karideph Honey Tea
Physical Description Human male, age 37 standard, 1.72m, 76kg, raven hair, dark brown eyes, cybernetic left arm and hand.

Bio:

Kallysto is the heir to the Varan Holographic Studios legacy on the entertainment world of the Minos Cluster, Adarlon. Brought up as the son of a holoactor-turned-executive, Kallysto showed up on holoscreens at an early age as a child actor, and remained popular into his early 20's as an action-hero actor, specializing in swordfighting and daredevil craft stunts.

A shuttle accident claimed both his parents, and suddenly Kallysto was at the helm of one of the more prosperous studios in the sector. He used part of his inheritance to fund a starcraft company, building customized 'fightercraft' for use in more films. In truth, he was using the movies and the speed to bury his grief about his parents.

Alliance scouts cleverly gave him evidence that the death of his parents was at the hands of Imperials, in the hopes of perhaps gaining a wealthy ally in the sector, one who could also go places under the guise of 'filming a movie'.

It would have worked, except that finding a target for his anger caused Kallysto to produce films that were more and more anti-Imperial in light, much to the dismay of his investors. Kallysto was also taken on as a courier, using the starcraft to run information around the sector.

The last straw came when filming 'Starrunners IV: Janno On A Rampage', when Kallysto left his marks and fired on an Imperial Customs Frigate, using a modified stuntfighter that had been loaded with real concussion missiles. Though it was claimed as an accident with a navicomputer, the Imperials decided to shut the studio down, effectively ending Kallysto's screen career.

Drun Cairnwick, Rebel sympathizer in the sector, asked Kallysto if he was still willing to serve against the Empire. He agreed, and quietly turned the starcraft company into a production plant for A-Wing prototypes, testing several of the alpha-class craft himself.

A crash with an Imperial gunboat cost him his left arm from the elbow down; since the accident he's never been quite the same; more subdued, quiet, laconic. Still shows up for muster call; still takes the A-wings out. A handful more starcraft losses, almost as if he was trying to kill himself; he hasn't succeeded yet. Cairnwick tried giving him some responsibility, making him close-combat instructor. It worked, mostly.

Kallysto talks only when he needs to. He's at his best when he's far from the public eye, on long range scouting missions; preferrably as far and as fast as possible. He likes flying alone.

Kallysto has only one vice; Capital ships. Perhaps it's a death wish, still, but he'll go right for a capital ship if he sees one, avoiding covering fightercraft on the way. The crown prize in his canopy marks the old Victory Class Star Destroyer, Chariot, assigned to the Minos sector just for Imperial presence.

Bio:

Will grew up on Corellia with his father. Will never new his mother and always wishes he did, he was deprived a strong female presence during his childhood and has suffered because of it. He finds it hard to show his emotions and become close with anyone. His mother actually died in childbirth and his father was so distraught by his wife's death that did as little as possible to help Will as he grew up. Jack took a job as manager on a little used space platform, to try and get away from his grief. Will was too young to remember where it was, as he stowed away on a freighter to the Outer Rim when he was twelve. He has never seen his father since.

The freighter captain discovered Will lurking around the ship and chucked him off in some asteroid base in the Outer Rim. The name started with V but he can't remember the full name. He stayed alive by begging, stealing and helping freighters unload. When he was old enough he joined the crew of a Corellian Corvette called "Black Hole 1". He did every chore that was not allocated to anyone else aboard his new home. He made a friend of the head engineer, Allcum Fraser, and spent the next two years working aboard the Corvette saving his earnings and learning about starfighter and starship mechanics. His natural aptitude for the job was uncanny and he was soon given an official posting on the Corvette as assistant engineer. In his mind this was great, it was a titled job, even if it was on as run-down Corvette. It was a job that he was proud of and that was all that mattered to him.

One night Will was woken up by the sound of sirens yelling and laser blasts impacting on the hull. This scared him half to death, he guessed that the Corvette must be in battle, but he had never been in battle before. He was full of fear and adrenaline as he scrambled out of his bunk and made his way to his post. The bulkhead opened to the main engine room in front of him as a laser blast hit the hull. The resulting shock knocked him off his feet and smashed his head on the bulkhead. The next thing he remembers is Allcum kneeling next to him trying to get Will to his feet. He got the impression he needed his help. Just as Will got to his feet a power conduit exploded next to him and sent shrapnel toward him and Allcum. Will was flung across the room as a large piece of jagged alloy sliced into his right fore arm. Will screamed in pain an looked at his arm. He found the shrapnel was lodged between his two bones and sticking out each side of his fore arm, He looked over to Allcum and he forgot about his own pain, Allcum was lying on the deck face up with shrapnel imbedded in the front of his skull. He was lying in an ever increasing pool of blood with no hope of life. Will distraught by his friend's death and collapsed where he stood. Little more is known of what happened next - he avoids the subject at all costs, and if you manage to persuade Will to tell you anything about it, he is as vague as 160 year old pencil drawing that has been left out in the rain.

After he left the Corvette he spent several years around the Outer Rim, just drifting from place to place doing any work he could to build up his supply of money. While in some back street bar he discovered his favorite drink, a "Grask". He doesn't know what it's made from and doesn't care to know, as it looks very unhealthy in a certain way. The red part of the liquid seems to boil at room temperature and flows in circles. He feels very ill for days after just a single "Grask" and has the opinion that if he got drunk on them, then pasted out he wouldn't wake up, ever.

He made his way out of the Outer into the Inner Rim but not before pooling his remaining money, and bought an old YT-1300. It was more run down than the Corvette he worked on before and just "rusty" wasn't a word that could be used accurately. It was in a terrible state and looking back on it he was amazed it flew at all. It took him a month to learn to fly the think before he left the outer rim, which he hoped would be for good. He met a young lady known locally as Angel in a bar, and to this day never found her real name. He does remember she was down on her luck and she was an experienced pilot, which he wasn't. He offered her the opportunity to join him in business. She had some unusual contacts and got them a job smuggling arms to Hoth, but they picked the wrong time and were caught in the battle above the planet. A Rebel transport helped him and he escaped, with his life, to the Alliance, with his recently found partner killed and in much pain from his injuries. He joined the Alliance as infantry and received training in heavy weapons. He swore to make the Empire pay for the death of his friend, and soon proved he could do so.

He was posted on a Corvette called the "Jason" as security, which he felt was a little demeaning, as he was in fact specialized in Assault with heavy weapons. Unknown to him, the Corvette was trying to sneak past an Imperial patrol without detection but they failed. A pair of GUNS and an ATR drooped out of hyperspace and immediately sent torpedoes flying towards the Corvette. The two Z-95s that were escorting the Corvette moved to intercept the GUNS and managed to destroy all but four of the torpedoes, which consumed the old Corvette's shields in no time at all. The only hope was for the Z-95s to give the Corvette enough time to reach its hyperspace co-ordinates and to get out of there. The Zs were made mincemeat and the Corvette was disabled. The ATR docked with the Corvette and spilled out its contents of stormtroopers onto the Rebels. This was the first time he would take active part in combat. During the firefight his standard issue blaster jammed at a definitely bad time, he caught a blast in the shoulder that sent him flying to the deck. He saw a stormtrooper rifle 2 meters away from him. This would mean his life if he could get to it. Trying to ignore the pain he threw himself towards the rifle and while still sliding across the deck he opened fire on the advancing stormtroopers. For a second he really thought he was a lawnmower. The Alliance troops managed to push back the stormtrooper advance, and some Alliance reinforcements arrived and destroyed the GUNS and the ATR. With Will's knowledge of Starship Mechanics he helped with the repair of the Corvette and they were soon on their way again. He has kept the stormtrooper blaster rifle ever since, since the rifle belonged to the first stormtrooper that fell at his hands. It's is a sort of memento and trophy for him, and with a friend modifying it for him it has earned the name the Stromtrooper Killer or STK for short. The whole ordeal reminded Will of his first job on the Freighter "Black Hole 1", the resembelence was uncanny.

He had always wanted to fly a starfighter and managed to get a friend of his in Starfighter Command to fly against him in a combat simulator. To the amazement of his friend, he was a natural at flying. His ability was brought to the attention of his superiors and he was soon transferred to Starfighter Command.

While in a combat simulator with his new squadron he discovered a lethal technique. He would go for an offset head-on pass and at the last moment dumbfire a pair of concussion missiles at his target. Whatever his friends did, they could not counter this attack successfully. Because of this he was aptly nicknamed "Locker", as he never used a missile lock. However, many of his comrades have now perfected techniques that stop Will's dumbfiring nature, but he still uses it when they are least expecting it.

He has been part of the Alliance ever since and has shown incomparable loyalty and dedication. On his 26th birthday he asked for a transfer to Corsair Squadron based upon the CRS Liberty. Four weeks later he was excepted into the squadron as Corsair Twelve. He requested the #12 spot for good luck and so far it has brought him such. He intends to earn himself a name on this ship even if it kills him.
