Bio:
It's not uncommon for members of the Rebel Alliance to have death marks, but few can claim to have a death mark from both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Born to a human father and Mirialan mother, Kyun grew up on starships. By the time she was a teenager, she was fully capable of plotting hyperspace coordinates for her parents, who plowed the trade routes, delivering all kinds of goods since well before the Clone Wars. When she was twenty years old, she obtained her own ship and began to take on more dangerous runs than her parents had.
Daring and undaunted under pressure, Kyun got her first death mark for failing to deliver medical supplies to an Imperial Garrison and instead, dropping them off for refugees displaced by the Empire's strip mining efforts on Kashian II. She earned her second mark for evading capture during a smuggling run to Corellia. Her third came when the Rebel Alliance contracted her to deliver an Imperial Spy to another cell within the Alliance. She discovered this spy had, in fact, tracked down and imprisoned her parents, discovering they were both executed when they refused to help the Empire find Kyun. She unceremoniously airlocked the Imperial and earned a Death Mark from General Antoc Merrick.
When the evacuation from Hoth commenced, Kyun earned her way back into the good graces of the Rebel Alliance by volunteering her ship and supplies to the beleaguered rebels. She helped them find a new safe haven and coordinated navigation lanes to and from the new bases. For her part in that operation, she was rewarded with command of a brand new Corellian Corvette. Fond of adventure serials, she named hers the Katarn's Claw, after a particular serial depicting a daring rogue agent of the same name.
Kyun is competent, highly intelligent, and is known for earning the respect of all those serving under her. She prefers to help others when she is in the position to, and is not above sacrificing profit and time to do so. Her navigation skills are legendary, often ranging far from the fleet to collect intelligence.
